Williams's contribution to black history month

Serena Jameka Williams is one of many great examples of black Americans breaking the barrier between color of skin and sports. Williams has over 40 titles in Women's tennis, proving to millions of people that if you put your mind to anything, you should be able to accomplish anything. She is an inspiration to many young black females and males because of the amount of work she is able to accomplish, letting others know that her color, gender,and race don't limit her ability to follow her dreams.

Serena's achievements, like her Olympic gold medals, awards in singles and doubles, and many of her trophies she earned from from may of her wins in Women's tennis. being a true inspiration to her fans.

Williams contribution to black history month is important because she is one of few black females to make into the sports industry with as many awards as Serena. She will always show the black community that her color doesn't limit her or anyone else.

chose to do Serena Williams because she is an inspiration to many young kids because of what she is able to achieve as an african american and a woman at the age of 35.
